OPTIMESS WSH

The OPTIMESS WSH is a high-precision, ultra-fast laser scanner specially designed for measuring the position of contact wires on rail vehicles. This innovative and robust laser scanner delivers reliable results even under difficult conditions thanks to its high measurement frequency and precision. The various protection options and intelligent interface make it ideal for use in demanding environments such as catenary wire position measurement on railway vehicles.

The OPTIMESS WSH is mainly used worldwide to measure the position of catenary wires. It is typically mounted on the roof of railway vehicles. Additional compensation for vehicle movement can be achieved with the optional OPTIMESS 2D sensors. Other applications include all areas where precise surface measurement is required.

Options

  • Protective housing: Provides mechanical protection and extends the temperature range through internal ventilation.
  • Ventilation: Allows use outside the standard operating temperatures.
  • Airknife: Keeps the protective window clean with a strong airflow.
  • Shutter:Closes and protects the protective glass when not in use.
